The proposal of improvement PT line connection for side Bánová in ®ilina city

This paper aimed to present the recent status of PT service in side Bánová in ®ilina. This side is characteristics with poor level of PT service. In order to find out some efficient solution, this paper presents a proposal of improvement PT connection for side Bánová. The approach is interesting with different way of solution, where the localization of points of interests is taking into account. For that reason a new routing is proposed which considers all aspects of transport network and citizens activities in order to determine a future framework for stabile PT demand.

The article deals with passenger information in public transport. Passenger information is generally expected to improve the quality of transit service by improving the passenger experience. Passenger information may grant passengers a better sense of control over their trip-making decisions and/or enable them to take action to minimize their waiting times at stops, plan their transfer connections and thus reduce their overall travel time.

Modern transport must ensure the quality of the services and the protection of the environment. With transport problems such as congested streets we can meet today nearly in every bigger city. It arises from the main issue - an increase of individual car traffic in the city centre. One possible solution is the city toll. In recent years, in developed countries city toll is playing more important role when solving traffic problems in cities.
