The queueing theory is widely used in many branches, for example in informatics, economics and of course in transport. Common models of queueing systems usually assume that a server breakdown can not occur. In this paper the model of the unreliable M/M/1/2 queueing system with mass customer departure after server breakdown occurrence is presented. This paper shows solving of studied model by two different approaches - method according to A. Chinčin and by graph method.

EVALUATING COMPETITIVENESS OF AIPORTS - AIRPORT COMPETITIVENESS INDEX

The paper introduces a concept of airport competitiveness index. The index consists of numerous indicators grouped into four categories: market potential, infrastructure, charges and recent traffic results. Another important factor we take into account is safety. We find that from the selected sample the most competitive airports are Singapore Changi and NY Kennedy.

Traffic moderation in cities is a process that reflects the pursuit for a new quality of life as well as applying modern transport policies at European level. In practice, there are many different types of this process depending on the type of area, road and citizens' requirements. This article discusses the context of liability of carrier for the carriage of cargo, resulting from the Hague - Visby Rules. However, also discussed the importance of keeping the documents accompanying the cargo, which may affect this and protect the carrier. The incidence of damage cargo are one of the consequences of neglecting the care of cargo. Examples are those occurring in the damage with an indication of further action to address complaints incurred by the transfer of cargo.

Article discusses the importance of the conclusion of the maritime transport of cargo and highlights the role of this legal document in relation to the carrier. Examples are given associated forms of these contracts, which are different degree of responsibility for the carriage of cargo and provide a forum for fraudulent activity. They are practical comments on the new rules introduced in this issue towards their formal simplicity.

This article deals with environmental impact of the individual car transportation. The increase in the individual car transportation at the expense of the public transportation brings problems in the big cities not only in dynamic, but also in the static transportation.Experience from developed countries show, that regulation of downtown parking and building of car pooling parking lots and their connection to public transportation can solve the problem. The article describes basic intentions of the city parking policy and carpooling services.

COMPARATIVE BRAKING TESTS OF M1 CATEGORY VEHICLE

This contribution deals with problems of braking the automobile, specifically of category M1. It was carried out the measurement of braking deceleration of the vehicle Citro?n C6 by Correvit system under different conditions in three modes due to tyre inflation pressure. Test place was airport in the village of Rosina in Žilina. In the finish part of this contribution are presented results of performed measurement and its evaluation and comparison.

There are many existing theories and studies aimed on flowers and plants transport abroad.
