Man is the most unreliable and at the same time the least understood element in the driver-vehicle-environment system. Many of the factors affecting the driver have been identified in detail. Taking into account the social and mental changes in societies, however, it turns out that what once could be considered harmful, today thanks to new solutions is acceptable. At the same time, due to the dynamics of technological development, new solutions continue to emerge, which, in a situation of improper use, may carry new, hitherto unrecognized dangers in traffic. Therefore, tests related to the determination of factors determining driver behavior are still...
Motorcycle Crash Tests - Literature Review

Transport And Communications 2022, 10(2):7-11 | DOI: 10.26552/tac.C.2022.2.2
More and more motorcycles appear on the roads, which can be seen, for example, on the basis of statistic data presented by the Central Statistical Office. The data shows that every year there are more newly registered motorcycles and that there are many road accidents involving two-wheelers. The following work presents a review of the existing literature related to crash tests of motorcycles and dummies. The paper presents the standards according to which the tests are carried out, various crash tests and the stands on which the tests were carried out. The paper presents and describes a dummy used in motorcycle crash tests and presents the differences...
Last Mile and its Latest Changes in Express, Courier and Postal Services Bound to E-commerce

Last mile delivery is influenced by both technology as well as customer requirements and their preferences. Recently, technologies such as drones, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or robots have come to the fore to deliver parcels to their addressees or authorised recipients, instead of delivering them solely by couriers or into letters or parcel lockers. It cannot be argued that delivery by courier or to letter or parcel lockers is unattractive, but, in terms of innovation, it is already possible to regard these forms of delivery as a standard that has been in practice for some time. It is therefore necessary to discuss technologies that have both...
EV Simulation Tests in Various Road Conditions

Transport And Communications 2022, 10(2):18-21 | DOI: 10.26552/tac.C.2022.2.4
Electric vehicles are gaining popularity all the time. As a result, they have become the subject of much research. The purpose of this work is to analyze the energy consumption of the vehicle depending on the specificity of the designated routes. For this purpose, three routes with different types of traffic have been designated. Then, the research test vehicle, together with the necessary equipment, made runs on the indicated roads. This made it possible to record the basic parameters related to the movement, such as: instantaneous velocity, acceleration, travel time and route length. Based on the collected data, simulation tests were carried out...
