Logistic centers are important part of logistic chain infrastructure. When designing and creating logistic centers infrastructure in the given locality, it is necessary to follow specific system process to the logistic centers could execute required functions within the frame of logistic chain to their functional network could be created. In the paper are indicated system process for designing and creating logistic centers in the case of predefined locality.

In the article, the authors analyze a price development in highway freight trasportion within the last few years. The price development of transport relations is analyzed from the point of view of the trasnsporters working at the slovak market.

Observation of price level to season of the year's characteristics shows the biggest demand for road freight transport at the end of the year. Analysis show December as a specific month from the point of price level. Paper also deals with demand rule and price elasticity of demand.It is up to freight forwarder and hauler how they are able to use price elasticity of demand in practice.

IIn recent years we can notice a decrease in interest in city public transport.. That is why with ITS applications, we should try to make city public transport more attractive for general public. In my contribution I concentrated on tropical problems of personal public transport as preference and progressive information systems that I schematically described.

The paper deals with carbon dioxide production of transport sector in Slovakia. Article includes new point of view on CO2 production in transport sector and proposes new calculation method for identification of amount of direct and indirect CO2 emissions caused by transport sector. It is realized in order to compare carbon dioxide emissions impacts onto greenhouse effect.

There are two paralel legislative systems for light lorry's (category N1) engine exhaust emissions in Europe. Since 1993 the systems are harmonized. It means, that measured parameters, test mode, used equipment and specified limities are the same. The emision limit Euro 4 is going to take effect since 10/2006 and the limit Euro 5 since 6/2009. The paper describes technical posssibilities how to achieve these limits through catalytic reduction using water solution of carbamide AdBlue + DENOXTRONIC made by BOSCH and recirculation of exhaust fumes.

The postal industry and market are about to change very decisively and more rapidly than over before. The postal sector, customers are becoming increasingly assertive in exercising their rights and wishes. The Slovak postal market is connecting to the European postal market. Článok rozoberá problematiku hodnotenia kvality v doprave. Cez všeobecne uznávané postupy hodnotenia kvality prechádza k hodnoteniu kvality v doprave. Ako možné metódy pre hodnotenie uvádza kvalimetrické metódy, spotrebiteľské testy a metódu benchmarkingu. V závere sa článok zaoberá vymenovaním typov systémových meraní podľa kritérií modelu EFQM.

This paper deals with financial derivate's pricing, especially lookback option's pricing, using the Binomial Tree Model. The price of European lookback option calculated from Binomial Tree model is compared with the price of the same American lookback option calculated from Binomial Model.
