Given article deals with the issues of synchronization of the European transport policy and situations on Slovak Republic roads. EU's basic objective in this sphere is reduction of fatality rate on roads until 2010 in 50% as compared with 2002. The article shows statistical data on accidents frequency in the SR and on reasons for their occurrence. Conclusion of the article is devoted to some measures prepared by the SR Government Board of road transport safety in relation to reduction of road accidents frequency.

DYNAMIC - CLIMATOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF SIGNIFICANT LOW LEVEL CLOUDS AT BRATISLAVA

The object of the research is processing of statistical analysis of occurrence of significant low level clouds at Bratislava airport. Using the calculation of various statistical characteristics and by the applying of the dynamic - climatological method it was possible to achieve a certain model of occurrence of significant low level clouds during the presence of individual weather types. The results are applicable in aviation weather forecasting and it is possible to use them by characterizing of dynamic climate of other airports with similar orographic conditions.

The article deals with new methodology for quality assessment in the conditions of railway passenger transport. There are defined the indicators for specified criterions of quality services. The article describes one part of the marketing research, which is founded on designed criterions. Marketing research contains quality perception of transport services from two different points of view - customer and staff.

There are several cities in the Europe e.g. London, Bristol, Rome, Oslo, Bergen or Stockholm that have established toll collection in their central parts. The traffic problems are becoming the common part of our daily living. It's clear that we need to face to the problems and find out the solution which works. While abroad it is common that town have own transport model, the situation in ®ilina certify the contrast. The aim of this contribution is describe transport model framework proposed for ®ilina town so called Zilina Transport Model (ZTM). The model development preceded a couple year work where the model techniques were investigated. The main goal is develop such kind of model which will be universal and objective for transport and traffic problem solution.
