It includes the increasingly complex information, communication and control systems required in today's business environment. Logistics offers opportunities of implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT). This is e-logistics and together with ICT brings for transport operators and customers many advantages, e.g. lower costs, more automation, systematic reactions and answers to customer's requests.

The natural place for synchronization is in an area where the traffic demand is too high for the actual capacity. When we envision the future, crowded areas might become normal. This study is framed within a PhD research that investigates the acceptability of controllers in the collaborative context, and in particular for the task of monitoring aircraft's speed adjustment and assigning flight level to achieve synchronized flows. The paper shows the actual problems of public mass passenger transport financing oriented at regional transport. On the basis of elaborated outputs and costs analysis we could say that regional transport provided by bus transport is economically efficient. The sources mostly created by road transport are reallocated without future strategy, mostly taking account to ensure the transport service in the territory of Slovak Republic by public mass passenger transport.

This paper discusses opportunities to integrate Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) into the transportation planning process. ITS refers to a variety of tools, such as traffic engineering concepts, software, hardware, and communications technologies, that can be applied in an integrated fashion to the transportation system to improve its efficiency and safety. ITS has a lot to offer in solving some of the most complicated transportation problems. Fundamentals of traditional transportation and ITS planning are introduced to show where these processes could be integrated.

The aim of the article is to present a significance of evaluation of externality with evaluation of economic efficiency of investments and decision of investments. An article dealt with evolution of transports in Slovak Republic and individual external cost types in Europe and Slovak Republic. It next analyses gross domestic product of Slovakia and rates proportion in GDP of external cost. The paper concretizes the principles of effective price control of Czech Post defined in the paper "Proposal of the Effective Price Control of Czech Post" presented on PERNER'S CONTACT 2004. This paper describes proposed model of price control outgoing from price-cap and tariff formula RPI-X and concentrates on its quantitative expression. Application of proposed model is carried out both for hypothetical period in past (in order to compare with the current control system) and for current control period in order to set relevant maximum price increase of regulated tariff basket (letter items)

POUŽITIE METÓDY MONTE CARLO PRI OCEŇOVANÍ EURÓPSKYCH CALL A PUT OPCIÍ

This article deals with application of Monte Carlo method in option pricing, especially europian call stock option. Using Monte Carlo method we simulate course of corresponding stock price. We keep the required number of iterations. Using the last stock prices we calculate the prices of call option, their discounted average represent the Monte Carlo estimation of the option price. Comparing this price with the real option price we are able to determine an error of the estimate.

This article deals with the methods for multicriterial assessment and their application. I proposed how to use these methods in the field of quality of services and its measurement, first of all in term of competitive analysis. I focused on my own methodical proposal leading to calculation of the numerical order of the selected service providers according to the specific evaluative criteria. Thanks to the method application it will be possible to specify the key factors, which influenced the research results in comparison with the services of competitors and consequently to define an effective competitive strategy.
